Prior Experience Before forming Stein & Stein, Ltd. in 1993, Jay was a litigation partner at a leading Chicago law firm. He handled a variety of litigation, including but not limited to divorce litigation, in trial and appellate courts throughout the United States. Previously, Jay was a judicial law clerk to Justice Robert J. Downing of the Illinois Appellate Court. |

Publications Jay co-authored the chapter "Discovery" in the Illinois Family Law practice handbook published by the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education. Jay updates this chapter on a regular basis. |
