practices exclusively in the area of family law. She represents individuals in all aspects of divorce litigation, including valuation and disposition of substantial business interests, maintenance, child support, custody and visitation.
Prior Experience
Before joining Stein & Stein, Ltd., Katya worked for the Family Law Clinic at the Law Offices of IIT-Chicago-Kent College of Law. She helped clients with a variety of issues, including but not limited to matters of legal separation, divorce, child support, child custody, visitation, removal and other related family law issues. While in law school, Katya served as a judicial extern in the Cook County Domestic Relations Division and was a member of the nationally ranked trial advocacy team at IIT-Chicago-Kent College of Law.
Publications
Katya co-authored the chapter “Discovery” in the Illinois Family Law practice handbook published by the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education.
