Mr. Rokacz has been in private practice since 1972. His early practice involved criminal litigation and civil law. In his early career, he was involved in the birth of the Vinginia Slims Women’s Professional Tennis Tours which has evolved into the current women’s tennis tour. For the past 25 years, he has exclusively practiced in the area of family law. In this capacity, he has represented many high-net-worth and high-profile individuals.
For over 30 years, Mr. Rokacz has routinely been appointed by the Court as a Children’s Representative and Guardian Ad Litem, acting as an independent attorney for children when domestic custody and visitation issues are in dispute. Since its creation, he has been a member of the Cook County Children’s Representative Screening Committee which recommends applicants for approval by the Chief Judge. John is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, and Illinois Trial Lawyers Assocation.
Mr. Rokacz is bilingual and fluent in Polish.
